LATEST NEWSBalfour Beatty has been appointed preferred bidder on a £450m Building Schools for the Future programme by Blackburn with Darwen and Bolton Councils.
The 25-year-concession will involve the delivery of a major capital investment programme, comprising the building or remodelling of nine schools in Blackburn and Darwen by 2015.
Balfour Beatty will also build or remodel 15 schools, two special schools and seven pupil referral units in Bolton.
Inner City Solutions provided the regeneration support for Balfour Beatty's successful bid.
