Background
Inner City Solutions has been retained by 'Inliverpool', an exciting new Local Asset Based Vehicle (LABV) established between Liverpool City Council and Inpartnership, to project manage and coordinate the development of two new housing schemes in the north of the City.
Local asset based vehicles are increasingly at the forefront of UK development activity, providing Local Authorities with a unique opportunity to forge long term partnerships with private sector developers in helping to focus new resources into neighbourhoods where there has been little investment historically.
Role
Within our role as development managers, Inner City Solutions has been responsible for managing all aspects of the partnership arrangement, including consultations, masterplanning, decants and delivery programming to ensure that the respective needs and objectives of Liverpool City Council, Inpartnership and the public are all met. Inner City Solutions' involvement has successfully ensured a consistent and transparent approach to delivery, helping to foster effective partnership working between all parties.
Delivery
The 'Inliverpool' partnership, the first of its kind in Liverpool, will oversee the redevelopment of some 70 acres of land across Norris Green and Dovecot. The partnership will bring together public and private sector resources to secure an unprecedented level of investment within each neighbourhood, helping to pave the way for a diverse mix of aspirant new family housing and community infrastructure.
Inner City Solutions bring a wealth of experience to this role, having previously undertaken numerous projects acting as the interface between the public and private sector on large area based initiatives.
